Leaves swirl around my dreams
Reminding me of the fresh season
Nights become longer
Short days witness my bright moments
With the arrival of the yellow hued blooms
The sorrow of my heart turns into a golden smile
Overjoyed with a festive mood
I embrace the change with open arms
Fluttering butterflies in the golden garden Of beauty and glittering hopes
Make me wild in the
Moon kissed night
Of my lone cottage.
Now I can rest in a lasting bliss
As I waited for this miracle to happen
until Autumn!!!
Sudipta Mishra is a multifaceted persona known for her work as a poet, dancer, translator, reviewer and editor. She has authored many books, including titles like " The Essence of Life", "The Songs of My Heart", "Everything That I Have Never Told You", and Her recent book, "Beyond the Pandemic", which explores the impact of covid 19. She has recently co-authored two anthologies titled 'Under The Starry Sky' and 'Everything I Never Told You'. Mishra has received prestigious awards such as the Rabindranath Tagore Memorial and the Mahadevi Verma Sahitya Siromani Award. She advocates social justice in her writings. Presently, she is busy with the publication of her two books, Under The Starry Sky and Silent Waves In Soliloquy, with her co-authors.
